Neuters

Neuters

("Ex-Males")

We are blessed with lots of wonderful boys and naturally can't use them all for breeding.   They're all bundles of love, even-tempered, sweet guys who deserve a household where they will get the attention a pet home provides.

These guys aren't old AT ALL; and, like all Turks, remain playful as kittens for YEARS into adulthood.

I hope you fall in love with them and consider a non-kitten to adopt.

Ronny

(Registered in CFA as Ron Weasley.)

Our Ronny boy is just turned 2 years old (born 1/3/08).   He and his son Jaspurr are pretty big for Turkish Angoras.  I just weighed Ronny at 12 pounds.  His son Jaspurr will be about the same.  In comparison with our girls, who weigh between 5 and 7 pounds, Ronny and Jaspurr feel to me like Great Danes when they come up to sit on my lap.  But I love it when Ronny sleeps on me.

The two look so much alike that I have to look for the notch (scar) in the left ear that Ronny has to tell them apart.  (No, he doesn't have it in order to tell them apart!  It's simply HOW I tell them apart!  He got the scar in a tussle with other cats when he was younger.  I don't want anyone to get the idea I injure my animals for the convenience of identifying them easily!  WHEW!)

The photo below shows Ronny in his winter-coat glory and his pre-neutered jowled face.  Maybe we've been keeping the thermostat high this year, because his coat doesn't seem to be full this year.  The photos on the left are VERY recent.  Isn't he handsome?

Jaspurr

officially Azima's Golden Jaspurr

Compare this boy, born 10/2/08, to his dad, Ronny, above.  Same song, slightly different verse -- but without the notch!  Another big, honkin' hunk o' love!
